Hi there! Hi there! I’m Mahira, the author and designer behind Cicka Design.. What began as a personal hobby soon caught fire, and since then, my designs and videos have reached millions of people. It’s been an incredible journey seeing my patterns used by a global community of makers every single day.

Beginings

Since childhood, I’ve harbored a dream of designing clothes. However, life’s fast pace often put this aspiration on hold, though the idea never truly faded.

In 2021, everything changed when I began crocheting garments for my daughter. This creative spark ignited a flood of ideas, leading to the birth of Cicka Design.

The name

The name “Cicka” holds a special place in my heart. As a devoted cat lover, “Cicka” was my childhood endearment for my kittens, a term I later lovingly used with my own daughter. This personal connection inspired the name Cicka Design. This also explains the idea of the logo.
